Our promise of quality
Tested and certified
We offer you an excellent study programme with teaching of the highest quality. SRH University Fürth has received state recognition from the Free State of Bavaria and, as an institutionally accredited higher education institution, is allowed to bear the quality seal of the Wissenschaftsrat (the German Council of Science and Humanities). All our study programmes are accredited according to the rigorous accreditation procedure by the renowned accreditation agency AHGPS.
Institutional accreditation
We received state recognition in 2012 and were institutionally accredited by the Wissenschaftsrat – most recently in 2023, valid until 2028. Our research orientation and innovativeness were singled out for praise in the accreditation report.
Quality assurance by the Akkreditierungsrat
Since 2021, our degree programs have been individually and specifically accredited by the Akkreditierungsrat for a duration of 5-8 years as part of program accreditations.
Programme accreditation of our study programmes
The prestigious accreditation agency AHGPS accredited our degree programs until 2021, each for a minimum of five years. Since 2021, AHPGS evaluates our degree programs prior to the decision of the Akkreditierungsrat. The accreditation reports highlight the intensive support we give our students, our coherently designed study programmes, and the interdisciplinary approach embraced by our university.
Award for CORE Principle of teaching and learning
In 2018, Stifterverband and the Volkswagen Foundation honoured our teaching and learning model, the CORE Principle, with the Genius Loci Award, the only prize in Germany awarded for outstanding teaching to institutions. SRH created the CORE Principle (Competence-Oriented Research and Education) in 2012 as a unique teaching and learning model based on cutting-edge scientific findings from pedagogy and brain research: students delve into a single topic for five weeks – working independently and in small groups, coached by our lecturers. At the end of the five weeks, our students are tested to see if they can put the skills they have learned into practice – for example, in the form of mock company meetings, presentations or exhibition concepts.
